Mechanic | Delta Township, MI

Salary Range: $47,000 - $78,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance (PMs) on production machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to facilitate repairs.
• Execute precision adjustments and alignments of machinery components.
• Install and commission new manufacturing equipment and upgrades.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and parts inventory.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.

Recommended Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in industrial mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining complex mechanical systems (e.g., hydraulics, pneumatics, power transmission).
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Strong understanding and adherence to industrial safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).
• Demonstrated troubleshooting skills for mechanical failures and equipment malfunctions.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with PLC diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in welding (MIG/TIG) and fabrication.
• Certification in a specialized area such as hydraulics, pneumatics, or HVAC.
• Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Experience with predictive maintenance techniques (e.g., vibration analysis, thermography).
