Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and self-motivated Marketing Assistant to join our growing marketing team. This role will support the efforts of the marketing department and assist in the implementation of all marketing activities, including digital marketing campaigns, content creation, social media management, and coordinating events.
The ideal candidate will be able to:
- Assist in the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across various channels including digital, print, social media, and events.
- Aid in creating engaging content for marketing materials such as website copy, blog posts, email newsletters, social media posts, and promotional materials.
- Conduct research on market trends, competitors, and customer demographics to support marketing strategies and initiatives.
- Manage and monitor social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.), including scheduling posts, engaging with followers, and analyzing social media performance metrics.
- Assist in planning and organizing events such as webinars, trade shows, conferences, and customer workshops. Coordinate logistics, promotions, and post-event follow-up.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience (internships included) as a Marketing Assistant or similar role.
- Solid understanding of marketing principles and techniques.
- Proficiency in MS Office and marketing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator or Canva, Monday.com, Leaflink, Mail Chimp, Wix, Mile IQ (Track Milage), Weedmaps, CRM tools)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
- Knowledge of Dutchie operating system is highly preferred.
