The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing mammographic imaging procedures, ensuring high-quality images for diagnostic evaluation while providing compassionate care to patients. This role requires a strong understanding of medical imaging techniques and a commitment to patient safety and comfort. Duties

• Perform mammography procedures in accordance with established protocols and standards.
• Ensure the proper positioning of patients for optimal imaging results.
• Maintain equipment functionality and perform routine quality control checks.
• Collaborate with radiologists to discuss findings and assist in diagnostic evaluations.
• Educate patients on the mammography process, addressing any concerns or questions.
• Adhere to aseptic techniques and safety protocols during all procedures.
• Document patient information accurately, including medical history and imaging results.
• Stay current with advancements in mammography technology and techniques.

Experience Candidates should possess experience in the following areas:

• Mammography, including knowledge of DEXA scans and X-ray procedures.
• Familiarity with nuclear medicine, sonography, CT scans, PET scans, and diagnostic radiology.
• Understanding of medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, and physiology knowledge.
• Experience in urgent care or emergency medicine settings is preferred.
• Previous work in a Level I or Level II trauma center is advantageous. Join our team as a Mammography Technologist where you will play a vital role in patient care through advanced imaging techniques.
