SmartTalent Staffing is looking to hire a Machine Operator Assistant for a client in Renton who specializes in protective and food packaging. (Details below)

PAY : $21-$22

TITLE & SHIFT : Machine Operator Helper, Swing Shift

LOCATION : Renton, WA

SCHEDULE : Monday - Thursday, 4:00pm – 4:30am

OBJECTIVE :

Assist in the safe operation of production equipment to produce quality products by continual adjustments of gauges that control speed, temperature, and pressure. Understands and adheres to all safety rules and procedures. Produce orders on time to satisfy customer needs and production requirements.

JOB DUTIES :

· Assist in the safe operation of production equipment to produce quality products by continual adjustments of gauges that control speed, temperature, and pressure.

· Understands and adheres to all safety rules and procedures.

· Produce orders on time to satisfy customer needs and production requirements.

· Move bundles of bubble wrap 48” tall x 30” diameter – bag, tag, & stack.

· Assists with all required quality inspections, testing, and documentation.

· Comply with company standards with regard to housekeeping and 6S on machines and surrounding areas.

· Helps perform routine preventative maintenance.

· Other duties as assigned.

  REQUIREMENTS:

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· Basic math, reading, and computer skills.

· High awareness toward safety.

· Ability to solve problems and apply critical thinking.

· Able to work effectively and efficiently as part of a team.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

· Frequent standing, walking, and bending.

· Pushing, pulling, and lifting at least 30lbs.

· Eye/hand coordination.
