Job Title: Full-Time Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).

Position Overview:

The Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) will provide high-quality mental health counseling services to clients in a supportive and therapeutic environment. The LPC will assess clients' needs, develop treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions to promote emotional well-being and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to determine clients’ mental health needs.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessments and client goals.
• Provide individual and group counseling sessions utilizing various therapeutic modalities.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client sessions and progress.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and community resources to support client care.
• Stay current with best practices in mental health counseling and participate in ongoing professional development.
• Uphold ethical and legal standards in counseling practice and client confidentiality.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Current LPC license in the state of practice.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with diverse clients.
• Experience with various therapeutic techniques (e.g., CBT, DBT, etc.).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a clinical setting or with specific populations (e.g., adolescents, trauma, substance abuse).
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.
