My client is seeking to hire a Landscape Architectural Job Captain!
An exciting and innovative multidisciplinary Landscape Architecture and Civil Engineering Firm is looking for a top-notch Job Captain to mentor, coach, develop, and promote for long-term success. This is a well-established firm with a diverse project portfolio including Parks, Plazas, Public Infrastructure, Stadiums, Athletic Parks, Neighborhood Plans, Schools, Colleges, and other public agencies.
This will be a full-time position offering a hybrid work schedule, excellent salary, bonuses, and full benefit package.
The Job Captain will be tasked with overseeing day-to-day landscape architectural design deliverables, construction documentation, administration tasks, and other routine maintenance duties to keep projects moving along on schedule. Key Responsibilities:
* The Job Captain will be responsible for assisting Project Managers with day-to-day coordination of landscape project deliverables during all phases of the project.
* Oversee graphic design, meeting preparation, client needs, and the production of high-quality construction documents/packages.
* Assist Project Managers with project scheduling, staffing projections, and billing reviews.
* Act as a point of contact for clients and outside consultants.
* Assist in the design, sketch, and development of proposed projects.
* Provide strong leadership through the management of relationships at all levels, internally and externally, with ownership, clients, production staff, consultants, and contractors.
Preferred Qualifications:
* B.S or M.S. Degree in Landscape Architecture.
* Architecture License preferred - but not required.
* 2-4 years of working experience working with a landscape architecture firm.
* Solid schematic design, hand graphics, and rendering skills.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
* Working knowledge of local plant materials, irrigation, grading, drainage, materials, and construction.
* Possesses a strong foundational knowledge of construction documentation, consultant coordination, and overall leadership.
* Strong organizational and communication skills are essential!
