Job Description

Acara Solutions is seeking a Landscape Architect/Designer to join our multi-disciplinary firm in West Palm Beach, FL . 

The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating beautiful, functional outdoor spaces and can assist the office principals during the design, permitting and construction phases.

Responsibilities

• Design landscape plans for residential and commercial projects
• Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for landscape projects
• Develop creative solutions to challenging design problems
• Work with clients to determine project goals and objectives
• Research and evaluate existing site conditions
• Work with other design professionals to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
• Prepare presentations and reports for clients
• Participate in site visits to evaluate existing conditions
• Attend meetings with clients and other design professionals

Job Requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture
• Knowledge of local (Palm Beach) and state regulations
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and 3D graphics
• Knowledge of sub tropical & tropical plant materials and construction techniques
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work under tight deadlines
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
