FOUR Spaces Design is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Junior Interior Designer to join our team on a part-time basis. You will work closely with the Principal Designer, assisting in various aspects of the design process. This role is ideal for a motivated individual eager to grow their career in interior design while contributing to a range of exciting projects. This position will require some time at our studio office, design meetings, job site meetings, running design related errands, and installations.
Key Responsibilities:
Design Assistance: Support the Principal Designer in developing design concepts, creating presentations, and preparing client proposals.
Software Proficiency : Utilize Microsoft Office and CAD for drafting, design planning, and project documentation. Experience with Revit, Chief Architect, SketchUp, Mydoma and Photoshop is a bonus but not required.
Project Management Coordination and Organization: Coordinate and manage the purchasing and implementation stages of our projects from samples to purchase orders to install. This can include scheduling appointments and/or deliveries with clients and vendors as well as maintaining an up-to-date task list, calendar, and client/vendor contact information via web-based project management software.
Client Interaction: Participate in client meetings and presentations, ensuring a professional and polished representation of FOUR Spaces Design.
Communication: Maintain excellent email and phone etiquette when communicating with clients, vendors, and team members.
Travel: Reliable transportation is required for travel within the Nashville area to attend meetings, site visits, and other project-related tasks.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design.
Valid Drivers’ License and a reliable vehicle.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CAD.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
A positive attitude, with a strong willingness to learn and adapt.
Reliable source of transportation for local travel.
