Job Description

Information Technology Strategies, Inc. is a government IT solutions provider servicing commercial and government initiative in various parts of the United States. We are currently seeking a Junior Business Analyst to work for our company.

Summary:

• Client Agency is IRS.
• Must be able to pass IRS Background check (Basic eligibility requirements include: U.S. Citizenship, clear criminal history, no recent or pending bankruptcies).
• Review the designs/configurations. Ensure it adheres to best practices and IRS policies/standards. Coordinate with the SMEs of impacted areas and facilitate the design/configuration reviews.
• Lead, facilitate, and coordinate Linux migration technical discussions (including documenting and distributing decisions and next steps
• Represent IRS operations in high level architecture/design/configuration technical discussions.
• Coordinate activities across workstreams to maintain schedule; Collect and report status daily.
• Assist /coordinate troubleshooting of infrastructure operations issues
• Provide knowledge transfer/training to current IRS support staff, including documentation of processes, procedures, and system configurations.

Requirements:

• Must be able to pass IRS Background check (Basic eligibility requirements include: U.S. Citizenship, clear criminal history, no recent or pending bankruptcies).
• Must have 4+ years of technical leadership experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Must have knowledge of IBM Linux and zLinux architecture, design, and configuration.
• Must be willing and able to work onsite in Washington, DC at least 50% of the time.
