Industrial Electrician | Delta Township, MI

Salary Range: $60,000 - $92,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical control systems, wiring, and equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions in machinery, PLCs, and power distribution systems.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical infrastructure and components.
• Interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical specifications for installation and repair.
• Ensure strict adherence to all electrical codes, safety regulations (e.g., NFPA 70E), and company policies.
• Calibrate and test electrical systems and components using various testing devices.
• Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and system modifications accurately.

Recommended Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification/apprenticeship.
• Proven experience with industrial control systems, including PLCs, VFDs, and motor controls.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for complex electrical systems and machinery.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety protocols and procedures, including NFPA 70E and Lockout/Tagout.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with PLC programming and development (beyond basic troubleshooting).
• Robotics troubleshooting and maintenance experience.
• Instrumentation calibration and repair expertise.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints using CAD software.
• Welding or fabrication skills relevant to electrical installations (e.g., conduit supports).
