Job Summary :

As an Independent Travel Agent with our host agency, you will be responsible for planning and booking all aspects of travel for your clients. This includes, but is not limited to:

  •   Consulting with clients: Understanding their travel needs, preferences, and budget to create personalized itineraries.
  •   Researching and recommending travel options: Flights, accommodations, transportation, tours, activities, cruises, and travel insurance.
  •   Booking reservations: Utilizing our booking platform and supplier relationships to secure travel arrangements.
  •   Providing exceptional customer service: Addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable travel experience.
  •   Building and maintaining client relationships: Networking and marketing your services to attract new clients and retain existing ones.
  •   Staying up-to-date on travel trends and destinations: Participating in training opportunities and industry events.
  •   Managing your own business: Tracking expenses, managing client payments, and achieving sales goals.


Responsibilities :

* Develop and present travel quotes and itineraries.

* Process payments and issue travel documents.

* Handle client communication before, during, and after travel.

* Stay current with travel advisories, visa requirements, and health regulations.

* Participate in ongoing training and professional development.

* Adhere to all industry regulations and ethical practices.

 

Qualifications :

* Passion for travel and helping others create memorable experiences.

* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.

* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

* Ability to work independently and manage your own time.

* Basic computer skills and familiarity with online travel resources.

* Sales and marketing skills are a plus.

* Prior travel industry experience is preferred, but not required. Comprehensive training is provided.
