Robert Half is assisting a dynamic and innovative organization in their search for an enthusiastic HR Assistant. As an HR Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the Human Resources department's daily operations. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in an environment where attention to detail, multitasking, and effective communication are key. You'll get hands-on experience with HR functions and gain insight into employee relations, onboarding, benefits, and payroll coordination. Key Responsibilities + Assist with onboarding new hires, including preparation of new employee documentation and ensuring compliance with company policies. + Support recruitment efforts by scheduling interviews, coordinating candidate communications, and posting job openings on various platforms. + Manage employee records and maintain the HRIS database with up-to-date, accurate information. + Answer employee inquiries regarding benefits, leave policies, payroll, and HR procedures. + Prepare reports and presentations related to HR metrics, staffing, and employee engagement. + Coordinate trainings, workshops, and team-building activities. + Support the payroll process, including timesheet collection and data verification. + Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements across HR processes and documentation. Requirements + 1-3 years of experience supporting human resources operations, administrative duties, or recruitment processes. + Associate degree or higher; HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP or PHR) is a plus. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); familiarity with HR software and tools (e.g., Workday, BambooHR). + Excellent written and verbal communication skills. + Strong ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and handle confidential information responsibly. + A resourceful mindset with the ability to adapt and troubleshoot effectively. Preferred Skills + Prior experience in recruitment coordination or new hire onboarding. + Knowledge of employment laws and regulations. + Familiarity with diversity and inclusion initiatives.
