Position: HR Assistant

The Human Resource Assistant will perform administrative tasks and services to support the effective and efficient operations of the FRHC HR department.

Responsibilities

• Administer and track Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), state-specific leaves, and company leave policies.
• Maintains accurate and up-to-date HR files, records, and documentation.
• Answers frequently asked questions from employees relative to standard policies, benefits, compliance, etc.; refers more complex questions to
  appropriate HR staff or management.
• Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of HR files and records.
• Assists with the HR phone line, answering questions or referring them to the correct party.
• Responds to reference checks and verifications of employment status.
• Provides clerical support to the HR department.
• Performs general administrative tasks such as running reports, filing, and scanning.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 0-2 years of related experience
• Demonstrated interpersonal communication, time management, and organizational skills
• Technical proficiency in utilizing computers and generating reports

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the health care field
