Job Description

Holiday Inn Boston Cambridge Area is seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Manager to oversee all housekeeping operations at our Somerville, MA location. The ideal candidate will lead a team to maintain high standards of cleanliness, guest satisfaction, and operational efficiency in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Responsibilities

Supervise housekeeping staff to ensure all cleaning and maintenance tasks are completed according to hotel standards.
Train, mentor, and motivate team members to provide excellent guest service.
Manage daily schedules, payroll, and work assignments for housekeeping staff.
Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house to ensure cleanliness and safety compliance.
Coordinate with other departments to address guest requests and resolve issues promptly.
Maintain inventory and order cleaning supplies and linens as needed.
Implement and enforce health, safety, and sanitation policies.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years housekeeping management or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
Associate Degree or Bachelor Degree in related field preferred.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies, and safety procedures.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality-related education is a plus.
Familiarity with budgeting and payroll management preferred.
