We need w2 candidate for this role with one of our direct client-

Title: SAS Data Analyst
Location: Charlotte, NC || Atlanta, GA- 5 days onsite
Duration: 9 months+ contract to hire

Job Responsibilities:
Overview: Looking for people focused on the data analytics space, supporting audit and issue evaluations.

Example: These can be one-time pull data or do a heavier data analysis/investigative work(looking for outliners).

Main Skills:

SQL
SAS (Python as a secondary)
Working Multiple Datasets (understanding of Enterprise Data Warehouse concepts)

Skills Overview:

5-10 years of experience in data analytics, data science
Strong SQL skills (writing SQL from scratch, queries, complex joins) no stored procedure or tables.
SAS customization
- SAS programming do code reviews.
- Python as a secondary
  - Do not need both SAS and Python
- Data extraction, data manipulation , data reporting (pulling insights from the data)
  - (re-executed and executing data might not be the right fit.) need to have coding expertise to analyze and identify outliers
- No ETL pipelining or performance tuning required
Need to work with non-tech folks as well to be able to accomplish ask
Banking/financial services is preferred BUT I am open to other enterprise experience
- Audit is only a nice to have skill, not required

Job Description:

Gather, analyze, document and maintain all data requirements related to the business applications, interfaces and reporting environments.
Apply standards and best practices to ensure the Bank's data is accurate, complete, current, understandable and accessible.
Work closely with internal clients, Audit Delivery Teams, business analysts and development project teams to resolve information flow and content issues
