System One is looking to hire a Helpdesk technician for a company in Oklahoma City.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing essential technical support, troubleshooting, and customer service to ensure the efficient operation of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to support requests via phone, email, and ticketing systems.
- Install, update, and troubleshoot software applications.
- Set up and maintain hardware, including desktops, laptops, and printers.
- Build, deploy, and maintain workstations and laptops.
- Assist with server creation and maintenance.
- Participate in after-hours support rotation as needed.
Essential Skills:
- Strong customer service and communication abilities.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tickets effectively.
- Independent problem-solving with good judgment on when to escalate.
- Team-oriented with a proactive mindset.
Technical Experience:
- Hands-on experience with Windows Workstation installation and configuration.
- Familiarity with hardware/software setup, networking, and printer support.
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues both remotely and in person.
- Experience with Active Directory, Office 365, and VMWare is a plus.
- Knowledge of firewalls and networking fundamentals.
- IT certifications are preferred but not required.
