Apply to be Saint Ann Parish Head Sacristan!
In this paid, part time position you will be responsible for the care of the
sacristies, sanctuaries, and altars, as well as overseeing all the supplies
necessary for the celebration of the liturgy. The Head Sacristan needs to
work and communicate well with the Pastor and Deacons to attend to the
environment of worship. A Head Sacristan should have a solid
understanding of how liturgies flow, the order of Mass and services, and
the basic teachings of and respect for the Roman Catholic faith. Training is
available and can be provided if you would like to be our Head Sacristan.
The Head Sacristan’s schedule averages 10 hours per week and is heavily
dependent on the church’s worship schedule which may include weekdays,
weekends, evenings and holidays and will vary during the seasons of
Christmas, Holy Week and Easter.
