This is a remote position.

W e are seeking a highly motivated and detailoriented grantwriting intern to join our team. As a Grant Writing Intern you will gain invaluable experience in the grant application process from research and writing to administration and evaluation.

The Grant Writing Intern will contribute to the development and submission of grant proposals assist in grant administration and support project implementation. This role offers a unique opportunity to learn about the grant writing process federal regulations and help demystify the intricacies of research work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research potential grant opportunities aligned with the firms mission and goals.
  
• Assist in the preparation of grant proposals including gathering data writing sections and formatting documents.
  
• Contribute to the development of budgets and timelines for grantfunded projects.
  
• Support grant administration tasks such as tracking deadlines submitting required reports and maintaining grant files.
  
• Organize grant writing resources and electronic files.
  
• Develop and submit grant requests and reports with support and draft grant acknowledgment letters when needed.
  
• Learn about grant compliance requirements and assist in ensuring adherence to regulations.
  

Qualifications:

• Pursuing a bachelors degree in public administration emergency management community development or a related field.
  
• Strong writing and research skills.
  
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  

Duration and Schedule:

This internship can be parttime or fulltime depending on your availability. The schedule can be flexible to accommodate academic requirements.

Work Schedule:

10 20 hours per week; flexible hours.

Length of appointment: Flexible with class schedules.

Time commitment: 1020 hours per week depending on the availability.

Support provided: This position will be supervised by the Chief Visionary Officer . Detailed instructions for all tasks will be provided.
