Department:Athletics | Golf Course Operations

Job Description

This position assists in all areas of golf course operations including grounds, facilities maintenance, and equipment and vehicle maintenance. Performs general golf course maintenance including mowing, fertilizing, chemical application, raking sand traps, irrigation system repairs and maintenance, structural repairs, tree cutting, and landscape renovations and planning. Services and repairs golf course equipment and vehicles including, but not limited to mowers, trucks, golf carts and handheld equipment. Assists in the preventative maintenance of all equipment and vehicles. Assists with inventory management. May supervise student and part time employees.

Minimum Required Qualifications

High School diploma or GED. Certification or vocational training may be preferred. 1 year of relevant experience required. 2-4 years of relevant experience preferred. Pesticide application license may be required.
