Fort Collins Nissan is seeking an elite-level General Sales Manager (GSM) to lead our high-performing sales team to new heights. This is a rare opportunity for a proven automotive sales leader to step into a key leadership role within a respected and growth-driven dealership.

What You'll Do

Lead, motivate, and develop a dynamic team of Sales Consultants, Finance Managers, and support staff to achieve and surpass dealership sales goals.

Drive performance across new, used, leasing, and subprime finance segments—ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction at every touchpoint.

Design and implement sales strategies that drive volume while maintaining high CSI and team cohesion.

Maintain deep knowledge of Nissan products and evolving industry trends to stay ahead of the market.

Monitor, analyze, and act on key performance metrics to maximize efficiency and results.

Collaborate with the Fixed Ops and Finance departments to ensure operational excellence across the dealership.

Recruit, train, and retain top-tier sales talent, instilling a culture of accountability, integrity, and constant improvement.

Ensure full compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and dealership policies.

What We're Looking For

Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in automotive sales leadership, with demonstrated success as a Sales or General Sales Manager.

Proven expertise in new and pre-owned vehicle sales, leasing strategies, and subprime credit.

Strong leadership and team-building skills with a passion for mentorship and performance development.

High-level understanding of sales forecasting, inventory management, and desking deals.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

Proficiency with CRM systems, DMS platforms (Dealertrack, Eleads, Vauto), and digital retailing tools.

Exceptional communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
