Job Description

Staff Management Group is seeking a Forklift Operator for our client in Secaucus, NJ. Please read the ENTIRE job description and ALL of the job requirements BEFORE applying for this position.

Schedule:

• 1st shift: 9AM - 5PM

Pay Rate:

• $18 / hour 

Job Summary:

The Forklift Operator will be responsible for moving stock around a warehouse using a forklift or other types of loading devices.

Job Responsibilities:

• Load, unload, pack, and unpack materials.
• Label and sort incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Relocate items within the warehouse.
• Operate a forklift or other machinery used for transporting materials.
• Track inventory of incoming and outgoing items.
• Carefully handle and dispose of hazardous waste materials whenever necessary.

Job Requirements:

• Experience using an electric pallet jack and a standup reach forklift
• Self-motivated
• Willing to wear multiple hats
• Able to adapt quickly
