Forklift Operator

Hablar Espanol es necesario para este trabajo.
Horario de primer turno.
Experiencia con el Sit down and stand up.

Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to transport materials within the warehouse.
• Load and unload products from delivery trucks, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
• Perform order picking tasks accurately to fulfill customer orders in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors and team members to optimize workflow and productivity.
• Maintain equipment by conducting regular inspections and reporting any issues or malfunctions.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines set forth by OSHA to ensure a safe working environment.
• Assist in building pallets for shipping as needed, ensuring proper stacking and stability.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with various types of forklifts, including clamp trucks and cherry pickers.
• Knowledge of order picking processes and best practices in a warehouse environment.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately follow instructions.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to maintaining safety standards and practices at all times.
• Physical ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods.
