The Role

You will be responsible for :

  • Lead and manage the Finance and Accounting team
  • Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and lending-specific financial policies
  • Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes
  • Monitor cash flow, loan disbursements, collections, and fund allocations
  • Prepare and present financial reports for internal and external stakeholders
  • Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and financial institutions
  • Drive continuous improvements in financial systems, processes, and controls
  • Managing a team of 1-5 people.

Ideal Profile

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience, with 2+ years in a leadership or managerial role
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and regulatory standards
  • Experience in the lending or financial services industry is a plus
  • Proficient in financial systems and tools (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel, or other ERP software)
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and highly organized
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
