Fat City Restaurant Group in Alexandria, VA, seeks an experienced full-time Operations Manager .

Candidate Summary: This position will oversee the operations of all of our unique restaurants and play an integral role in their stability and growth. Responsibilities include building and improving operational systems that impact service efficiency, maximizing revenue and covers, and ensuring consistently high-quality food and beverages.

• $130-150K salary

Schedule requirements:

• Open availability with varying work hours
• Minimum of 40 hours per week

Language requirements:

• English

Must have experience:

• 2+ years of previous experience in a similar District/Regional Manager role
• 5 years of experience in a full-service restaurant (not including hotels & fine dining)
• Previous General Manager experience
• Ordering, purchasing, receiving, and inventory
• P & L management (meeting financial objectives, maintaining beverage costs, maximizing profitability)
• Staff education, training, and motivation
• Food safety knowledge (certification preferred)
• Payroll
• Staff scheduling
• Managing >20 people
