Position Overview: Closet Factory is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our manufacturing team as a Factory Shop Worker. In this role, you will be responsible for collaborating with our team in the production of custom closet organization systems, ensuring the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship are maintained throughout the manufacturing process. Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate machinery and equipment in the manufacturing process, including saws, drills, sanders, and other tools.
  • Assemble and install hardware components according to specifications.
  • Follow designs and work orders to ensure accurate production.
  • Perform quality checks to identify and resolve any defects or issues in the product.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe and efficient manufacturing environment.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing or woodworking preferred but not required; we are willing to train motivated individuals.
  • Ability to read and interpret designs and technical drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Basic math skills and ability to accurately measure materials.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
  • Commitment to safety procedures and guidelines.
