The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that construction projects comply with environmental regulations, minimizing environmental impact, and promoting sustainable practices throughout the project lifecycle. **Job Description:** + Conduct environmental impact assessments and site evaluations related to civil construction projects. + Develop, implement, and monitor environmental management plans (EMPs) to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations. + Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to integrate environmental considerations into project planning and execution. + Monitor air, water, soil quality, and waste management on construction sites to prevent contamination and pollution. + Prepare environmental reports, documentation, and permit applications required for construction projects. + Identify potential environmental risks and provide recommendations for mitigation measures. + Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure adherence to environmental policies and regulatory requirements. + Assist in the development and delivery of environmental training programs for construction teams. + Stay updated on environmental laws, regulations, and best practices related to civil construction. + Support sustainability initiatives and the use of green technologies in construction projects. **Requirements:** + Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering with environmental specialization, or a related field from an accredited institution. + Professional Engineer (PE) license or relevant certification is desired. + Minimum of 10 years of experience in environmental engineering, preferably in civil construction or infrastructure projects. + Strong knowledge of environmental laws, regulations, and permitting processes. + Experience with environmental impact assessments, soil and water sampling, and remediation techniques. + Proficiency in environmental software and tools (e.g., GIS, AutoCAD, environmental monitoring systems). + Excellent written and verbal skills. **Equal Opportunity Employer**
