Job Description

Powder Springs Dentistry for Kids (PSD4Kids) is looking for a multi-talented Front Desk/Dental Treatment Coordinator to join our team in our Powder Springs office. This person will greet and assist visitors and clients of the organization and assist the Owner with multiple tasks.

The ideal candidate will deliver a professional and qualified first impression to all visitors. This person has excellent communication and customer service skills. He/she has a basic understanding of administrative and clerical procedures/systems and the ability to multitask in a busy environment. 

Responsibilities: 

• Guest services – Welcome guests, employees, and clients who arrive at the office and clarify the purpose of their visit and welcoming them to their new dental home. Answer all phone calls and emails sent to the office and provide inter-office messages as requested.  
• Administration – Send out and receive mail, documents, supplies and packages. Scan in documents into patient charts and keep good records. Maintain office supplies and reorder as needed. Manage a schedule for the office which requires scheduling appointments, sending out patient's forms to be completed before their visit, confirm appointments and pre-verifying insurance.
• Dental Assisting -  Being flexible is a must. As our practice grows, this person will assist with treatment with the dentist, prepare treatment rooms, provide patient care, take x-rays, assist with sterilization, and educate patients. 

Requirements:

• Flexible, Part-time to Full-time
• Fun and kid friendly
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Reliable, professional, courteous and patient and willingness to learn new task
• Excellent communication and writing skills
