NOW Courier is expanding in Merrillville, IN, and we're looking for friendly, customer-focused independent contractors to deliver packages along this newly consolidated dedicated route. This is a unique opportunity combining both a long-haul dedicated run and a local bank route into one contract, providing consistent daily work and a guaranteed weekly rate of $750 .

Your Mission

• Deliver with Clockwork Precision: Ensure that cargo is picked up and delivered to our valued customers on time, maintaining NOW Courier's reputation for reliability and punctuality.
• Build Lasting Connections: Deliver with care, courtesy, and consistency — becoming a familiar, trusted presence to the customers on your route.
• Route Mastery: Utilize GPS or mapping software to plan and follow the most efficient routes, ensuring timely deliveries and optimal fuel usage.
• Safety First: Adhere to all traffic laws, secure cargo properly, and use safety gear to protect yourself and your deliveries.

Route Details & Schedule (Merrillville/Logansport)

This position is for an immediate replacement/new opening and requires a commitment to a detailed daily schedule covering approx. 910 miles per week .

Mondays

• Start Time: 11:30 AM End Time: 3:00 PM
• Task Description: Local Bank Route only (~11 stops)
• Geographical Area: Merrillville, Hobart, Gary, Crown Point

Tuesdays & Thursdays

• Start Time: 4:30 AM End Time: 9:00 AM
• Task Description: Direct run from Merrillville to Logansport (arrive to Logansport by 7:30 AM) and return to Merrillville (~9:00 AM completion)
• Geographical Area: Merrillville to Logansport

Wednesdays & Fridays (Split Schedule)

• Start Time: 4:30 AM End Time: 3:00 PM
• Task Description: Run 1: Direct Logansport run (4:30 AM - ~9:00 AM). Break: 2 hours. Run 2: Local Bank Route (11:30 AM - 3:00 PM)
• Geographical Area: Merrillville, Logansport, and Local stops

Requirements

Vehicle Requirements:

• Candidates must possess a Car or Small Sized SUV
• The vehicle must be 2016 model year or newer . This requirement ensures the vehicle meets modern safety and reliability standards, as well as providing adequate space for cargo.
