Job Description

ERx has a need for a F amily M edicine or Internal Medicin e trained physician to work as both a hospitalist and clinic provider in a small critical access center in Southern Arizona.  

 

Position Details:  

• 10-hour day shift covering the inpatient and with some afternoon clinic   
  

• 24- beds - Level IV Emergency Department  
  

• ER volume is 5,687 with a 2% admission rate and 10% transfer rate  
  

• A verage daily census is 4 with a swing bed program  
  

• Average length of stay is three days  
  

• EMR is Medhost  
  

• Pediatric Emergency Prepared Emergency Care Certified Facility  
  

 

 

Compensation: Competitive pay as a 1099 independent contractor with malpractice covered  

 

 

Willcox, AZ is located 3 hours from Phoenix and just over 1 hour from Tucson. The town has a population of around 4000 people and the hospital provides services to an area of about 15,000.
