Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to established menus and nutritional guidelines.
• Deliver prepared food to classrooms promptly and efficiently.
• Complete daily production records to document food preparation and distribution.
• Shop for food and kitchen supplies once a week as needed.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen, adhering to all local, state, and federal sanitation standards.
• Follow instructions from the Supervisor and adapt to changes in daily routines as required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to pass a physical exam.
• Ability to work on a schedule that may include interruptions.
• Willingness to take direction and work collaboratively with supervisors and team members.
• Ability to lift 40-50 pounds in emergency situations.
• Consistent punctuality and reliable attendance required.

Special Working Conditions

• May require lifting up to 50 pounds in emergency situations.
• Exposure to kitchen equipment, cleaning supplies, and electronic devices such as computers and printers.
• Possible exposure to inclement weather and noise during food delivery or shopping trips.
• Use of a company vehicle for shopping and food delivery, with driving on city streets and highways.
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 2:45 PM.
