Job Description

Duties/Responsibilities:
•Oversee the month-end close process including preparation of financial statements, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
•Manage the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions.
•Supervise the Accounting Department staff including training, coaching and disciplining employees.
•Protect company assets by establishing, monitoring and enforcing internal controls.
•Prepare the annual company budget and coordinate this effort with department managers.
•Manage planning and actions to achieve DSO target.
•Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal & tax requirements for conducting business including the preparation of tax and regulatory filings, as required.
•Prepare and provide supporting documentation for federal and state tax returns.
•Prepare financial reporting to the Group level (parent), as required.
•Manage treasury cash management functions and cash flow planning.
•Prepare financial analyses and special reports for management.
•Work with Cost Accountant on cost accounting functions, inventory and product costing.
•Maintain the fixed asset management system.
•Actively seeks and evaluates cost saving opportunities throughout the Company.
•Maintain confidentiality of financial information and plans.
•Other duties and projects as assigned.

Qualification Requirements:
•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
•CMA or CPA preferred
•3+ years experience in similar position, strong GAAP understanding, and manufacturing experience required
•High EQ, works well in a collaborative setting
•Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel), BI and ERP systems, M3 preferred
•Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to communicate and work effectively across

Competency is evaluated beginning on date of hire and will be verified after all job function and evaluation requirements are completed. Additional tasks may be required as business needs dictate. Individual goal plans will be defined, and performance indicators may be modified as technologies and market conditions evolve.

Working Conditions:
Flexible hybrid work model with requirement to work on-site at least 3 days/week. Works primarily in office environment. Will travel occasionally both domestic and international.
