Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with Dementia & Parkinson's Experience
Location: Fairfax and Loudoun Counties, VA
Salary: $18-$20 per hour
Experience Required: Minimum 4 years
Mandatory: Applicants must have clean driving record and clean background check
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and support to individuals with dementia and Parkinson’s disease.
- Assist with daily activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
- Help clients with mobility and transfer, ensuring safety and comfort.
- Monitor and document patients' health conditions, including physical well-being.
- Support with medication reminders and encourage patient participation in physical therapy exercises.
- Follow care plans and communicate effectively with the office to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Must speak English as a secondary language, if not primary
- Current CNA certification in the state of Virginia.
- At least 4 years of experience working with dementia and Parkinson’s patients.
- Reliable transportation to commute to client locations in Fairfax and Loudoun counties.
- CPR and First Aid certification
