Salary Range: $57,000 - $84,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Delta Township seeking Buyers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and identify new suppliers for raw materials and components.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with vendors.
• Create and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
• Monitor supplier performance, quality, and compliance with specifications.
• Collaborate with production and planning teams to ensure material availability.
• Manage inventory levels to optimize stock and minimize waste.
• Conduct market research to identify trends and cost-saving opportunities.

Recommended Qualifications

• 3-5 years of direct purchasing or procurement experience within a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for procurement and inventory management
• Demonstrated strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical specifications, blueprints, or material data sheets
• Proven track record of achieving cost savings and supply chain efficiencies

Bonus Qualifications

• Strong technical aptitude or experience with manufacturing processes and materials relevant to the industry.
• Proficiency with advanced data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for spend analysis and supplier performance tracking.
• Certification in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
• Experience with e-procurement platforms or advanced modules of ERP systems (e.g., SAP Ariba, Oracle SCM).
