Double Knot NYC brings the Schulson Collective’s award-winning concept to the heart of Manhattan. This bi-level Japanese restaurant and cocktail lounge offers a dynamic balance: a vibrant upstairs bar with elevated cocktails and a hidden izakaya below serving sushi, robatayaki, and small plates. The New York City location has quickly become a standout destination for Japanese inspired cuisine and nightlife, blending modern energy with elevated hospitality. Essential Functions

1. Assists Servers by providing necessary support to ensure prompt and friendly service.
2. Responsible for cleaning tables, taking plates, utensils and drinkware to the kitchen to be washed.
3. Ensures guests’ water glasses are full and resets tables for the next service.
4. Responsible for overall dining room cleanliness.
5. Works as a team with other Bussers, Servers, Food Runners and support staff to ensure Schulson Collective steps of service are met at all times.
6. Creates memorable experience to build repeat business. Inform guests of other Schulson Collective restaurants.
7. Consistently meets standards outlined within Schulson Collective’s Core Values
8. Performs other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibility.

Physical Demands

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally push and/or pull up to 50 pounds. The employee will spend over 4 hours daily standing or walking.

Required Education and Experience

1. Minimum one (1) year prior industry experience.
2. Must be understanding of hygiene and food safety rules.
3. Must have strong multitasking capabilities.
4. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
5. Must be a team player with a strong work ethic.
6. Must display a positive attitude and willingness to take direction.
