Fox Motors has a Body Shop Manager opening in Caledonia, MI at Fox Chevrolet. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Body Shop Manager is a vital part of our management team to ensure the department’s profitability and growth. As the Body Shop Manager, you are responsible for developing business through insurance adjusters, customers, and other sources to assure adequate sales volume, directing the activities of body shop employees in performing body repairs, including meeting time schedules and productivity levels, and maintaining quality standards. • Forecasts goals and objectives for the department and strives to meet them.
• Hires, trains, motivates, and monitors the performance of all body shop employees.
• Prepares and administers an annual operating budget for the body shop.
• Monitor’s progress and completion of vehicles in the shop, ensuring that proper repair and safety procedures are followed.
• Maintains high-quality service repairs and minimizes comebacks. Conducts periodic spot checks of completed jobs for thoroughness and quality.
• Handles customer complaints immediately and according to dealership's guidelines.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proven leadership ability to mentor and train others.
• Experience and desire to work with technology to drive an exceptional customer experience.
• Excellent communication, organization, and follow-up skills.
• Ability to set and achieve targeted goals.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effective.
• High energy and positive attitude.
