Job Overview
Liona Enterprises is a seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Biostatistician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in statistical analysis and a passion for applying their expertise to the fields of healthcare and clinical research. As a Biostatistician, you will play a crucial role in designing studies, analyzing data, and interpreting results to contribute to advancements in medical science.  Must be able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement statistical analyses for clinical trials and epidemiological studies.
  • Collaborate with researchers to develop study protocols and statistical analysis plans.
  • Perform data management tasks, including data cleaning, validation, and preparation for analysis.
  • Utilize statistical software (such as R) for data analysis and visualization.
  • Interpret results and prepare comprehensive reports, including visual representations of data findings.
  • Provide guidance on bioinformatics approaches to enhance data interpretation.
  • Stay current with advancements in biostatistics, epidemiology, and related fields to ensure best practices are followed.

Experience
Candidates should possess the following qualifications:

A Master's Degree in Public Health, Biostatistics , Epidemiology or related field is required

  • Strong knowledge of biostatistics, epidemiology, and clinical trial methodology.
  • Proficiency in statistical programming languages such as R.
  • Possess experience in Utilizing surveillance systems - Disease, Early notification Registry.
  • Familiarity with bioinformatics concepts and tools is preferred.
  • Experience with data visualization techniques to effectively communicate findings.
  • Understanding of MS Office,
  • Background in biochemistry or quantum engineering can enhance analytical capabilities.
  • Proven ability to conduct thorough data analyses with attention to detail.
