Job Title: Data Engineer
Location: Onsite / Hybrid NJ first preference, else Charlotte, St. Louis and Minneapolis
Required Qualifications:
10+ years of Software Engineering experience.
Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
5+ years' experience with object-oriented programming (Java/Scala)
3+ years' experience in developing and deploying applications to public/private cloud
2+ years' experience with python programming
2+ years' experience with database programming (SQL)
2+ years developing and testing RESTful webservices using sprint boot or similar frameworks
2+ years of experience in big data processing like spark, Hadoop, hive
Experience with DevOps tools like Harness, Jenkins, Terraform
Desired Qualifications:
Associate Architect/Professional Cloud Certification in Google Cloud Platform/Azure or AWS
Knowledge of Kubernetes or similar orchestration tools.
Experience with ETL tools and process
Knowledge of event-based architecture
Understanding of Domain Driven Design principles
Experience with reverse engineering projects.
Experience remediating security findings/vulnerabilities
