Sign Language Interpreter Needed!

Clarifi is seeking a skilled and professional Sign Language Interpreter!

Located in Monroe Georgia

Part Time: 16 hours per week

The ideal professional will provide interpretation services to facilitate communication between deaf or hardofhearing students and others within the school environment ensuring equal access to education.

• Uphold the highest level of professionalism adhering to professional standards and ethics while maintaining confidentiality.

Requirements

• Proficient in American Sign Language (ASL) grammar and syntax.
  
• Strong understanding of Deaf culture and the needs of deaf or hardofhearing students.
  
• Possess a 3.5 or higher score on the Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment (EIPA).
  
• Preferred experience working with children or in a school setting demonstrating your ability to connect with students and support their unique needs.
