Job Title: Air Import Operations Supervisor (Cargo / Small Parcels) Job Type: Full-Time (Onsite) Location: 931 Stanley Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11208 Salary: $60,000 - $72,000 per year

The Role

The person who we're looking for must be proficient in the following:

• Oversee inbound flight status including shipment tracking/tracing and ensure KPIs are met.
• Oversee and coordinate any necessary transportation to ensure delivery is complete.
• Communicate with overseas offices to ensure they follow import SOPs and regulations.
• Follow up with Broker for customs exceptional cases and resolved them in a timely manner.
• Train and monitor the work performance of personnel.
• Manage and maintain relationships with customs brokers and last mile carriers.
• Assist manager and team with performance reviews with vendors.
• Assist manager and team to develop internal SOPs and maintain KPIs to efficiently manage inbound freight, including timely recovery and handover to last mile carriers.
• Develop and manage budgets and operational costs and maximize profitability.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Bilingual in Chinese and English is a plus.
• Extensive knowledge in P&L.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in air import operations.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in small parcels, general cargo, and e-commerce shipping.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a supervisory role.
• Experience with FBA operations preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
• Ability to work independently
• Good interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Accurate data entry skills
• Proficient in MS Office applic ations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
