Pay Range: $40.00 to $48.00 Per Hour

JOB SUMMARY:

A leading FAANG E-Commerce company is seeking a Business Data Analyst who can Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs. Formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies. Writes detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs. Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and 6-8 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• This role is requiring an individual who thinks big and will build reporting capability to measure satisfaction metrics. The ideal candidate for this role will should be:
• Able to proactively identify problems with significant business impact; facilitate analysis to identify problems and opportunities.
• Hands-on expert who is able to define the problem, requirements, define the analytical approach, design the analytical output and design for automation
• Own the effective communication of metrics and analysis.
• Consistently own and deliver deep dives in the form of narratives that influence business direction.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• 5+ years of relevant experience in a business analyst, data analyst or statistical analysis role.
• Proficient with SQL. Very important
• Advanced skills and experience with datamining, query development, and visualization: SQL, PL/SQL, Quicksight, Tableau, Statistical Analysis tools, MS Excel, or similar
• Experience with gathering business requirements, using industry standard business intelligence tool(s) to extract data, formulate metrics, and build reports.
• Experience is scripting for automation. Experience in metrics and reporting. Dashboarding tools. Knowledge in AWS technologies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, related technical field
